POST REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY: We want to thank everybody who was involved and helped to have another remarkable Remembrance Sunday Service in our parish. Thank you Marg Lyons for your words related to your trip visiting cemeteries of Canadian soldiers in France, Belgium and England.


WEDNESDAY SERVICES: Join us for our Study & Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, November 16th @ 10 am. We are starting a new series of studies on "Challenges from the Scriptures", followed by coffee time. Liturgical Colour: Green . We pray for the Lusitanian Church in Portugal. Readings: Exodus 22: 16-31; Psalm 146: 4-9 and St. Matthew 25: 31-40.



WELCOME THOMAS PAUL TANCHAK: Kate and Adrian are proud parents! Thomas Paul Tanchak was born on September 18th, at 1:23 pm at North York General Hospital weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces. Both Kate and Thomas are healthy and doing very well! We’ve adjusted to our new role as parents and over the past few weeks have figured out how to look after Thomas. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and good wishes. Hopefully we’ll see everyone else soon!

THANKSGIVING OFFERING 2011: This year we received $ 1,885 from Thanksgiving Offering 2011 in comparison to $ 3,200 from last year (2010). If you still have the Thanksgiving envelop with you bring it, that will make a major difference to face our expenses as parish. Thank you very much.

PROPERTY REPORT: The Property Committee reported that the floor of the gym was totally repaired and the work of maintenance was done. This is a new vignette to keep us update about what is happeing with our church building and facilities.

FOOD BANK: Thank you very much to everyone who is supporting our Food Bank that we share with those in need. We are asking to focus more into food and supplies for children (diapers). Please, do not bring peanut butter. Thanks.

WEEKLY SMILE: "Outside of the killers, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country." Mayor Marion Barry, Washington DC.

WHO IS WHO?: Each month we will have a person to discover! A few clues and let us guess the person's name: Wlak a dog around the neighbourhood, loves music and has a great good will. So, who is our person of November? Let us know during the coffee hour.
